Due to the rain, match are delayed. A decision will be taken at 3.30pm to start the first semi finale if possible. If not, at 5.30pm both semi-finale will start on central court and court n°1. If the weather does not allow to play at 5.30pm, both semi-finale will be re-scheduled at 10am sunday morning.

A new challenge, new partners.

This tournament is the main event of Midi-Pyrénnées Tennis from 1 week to Roland-Garros. Not that many tournaments can claim to have as player in their event : Carolin Wozniacki, WTA number 1 , Vera Zvonareva (n°3), Francesca Schiavone (n°4), Samantha Stosur (n°5), Kaia Kanepi (n°16 and Winner of 2010 edition), ...

If Saint-Gaudens became a place of the World Tennis we owe that to the faithful partners with for the most important: City of Saint-Gaudens and "Communauté de Communes du Saint-Gaudinois" and its mayor and President Jean-Raymond Lépinay, Martin Malvy president of "Région Midi-Pyrénnées", "Conseil Général de la Haute-Garonne" and its president Pierre Izard, Jean Gachassin president of the French Federation of Tennis, the "direction Départementale de la Cohésion Sociale" and its director Dominique Bacle as well as the totallity of our partners.

We keep on our development this year: a new court and a bigger broadcastin of the event.

But, all of this couldn't exist without the dynamism of A.I.T.F. and its freeworkers, with at the end, the success of the tournament.

I give you a "rendez-vous" on the courts of "avenue de l’Isle", where we will live a tremandous week.

Since the tournament's creation, interest of an international women tennis tournament has been proved:

Constant increasing of spectators visits thanks to the quality and the high level of the match, positive economics effects on Saint-Gaudens and the Comminges, increasing interest of medias.

This event, organized by A.I.T.F., enjoy loyal partnerships, which allow us to make of Saint-Gaudens one an international capital of women's tennis. I would like to thank specially: the city of Saint gaudens and the "Communauté de Communes du Saint-Gaudinois" and its mayor and president, Jean-Raymond Lépinay, Pierre Izard, president of the "Conseil Général de la Haute-Garonne", the Midi-Pyrénnées region and its president Martin Malvy, Bernard Archilla, director of south-ouest Gdf Suez, "Direction Départementale de la Cohésion Sociale" and its director Dominique Bacle, the french federation of tennis and its president, Jean Gachassin, Ludwig Beaulieu, director of BNP Paribas,Thierry Besnier director of Leclerc and Eric mounès, director of Peugeot.

For 2010, the tournament will be one of the biggest tennis event in Midi-Pyrénnées (with "Les petits As de Tarbes) and will be the 5th french women's tennis tournament. It will have a prize money of 50 000$ and will offer hospitality, that will guarantee a better draw, with better facilities and many animations.
